Lecturer in the Department of Developmental and Educational Psychology. University of Valencia. Member of the UV Youth Chair.

The PIN_Jove project is framed within the training work that the Chair of Youth of the University of Valencia directs to youth professionals (technicians, politicians, university teachers specialised in youth and university and training cycle students interested in working with young people). This project focuses on the use of TRICs as a means of raising awareness and training professionals for the socio-educational accompaniment of young people. Youth is a stage of personal and social exploration that should lead to the adoption of commitments and the establishment of a meaningful life project for the young person. It is a period of changes, of opportunities that should be enhanced through adequate socio-educational accompaniment. Professionals working with young people need tools that facilitate this work and support their daily work. In this sense, the PIN_JOVE project consists of a series of 3-4 minute videos (training pills) where experts in youth work identify key elements to take into account when working with young people and adolescents. Among the elements that are worked on we highlight: the construction of identity as an evolutionary task specific to this stage to be taken into account when working with young people (PIN2), the promotion of positive development from the young person's point of view (PIN3), knowledge of adolescent needs as a key aspect for appropriate professional action (PIN4), educational accompaniment in the construction of a meaningful life project for young people (PIN7), the technological factor in working with young people (PIN9) and the inclusion of the gender perspective in interventions with young people (PIN10).

The project is structured in two seasons of 10 pills each and combines the publication of the training pills on the website of the Chair of Youth (on a fortnightly basis) with messages on social networks (Instagram, Twitter and Linkedin). These dynamic and continuous messages promote awareness of the topic addressed in the corresponding pill of that fortnight and open a forum for debate where reflections, concerns and synergies are shared. As an example of PIN JOVE, Pill 9 will be presented, which illustrates the importance of technology as one of the main scenarios in young people's lives. The technological and digital dimension is essential in working with young people today.
