TIC-TOOC: "ICT tools for transmedialising a MOOC"
Summary: TIC-TOOC is a pioneering project that aims to revolutionise online education with the objective of improving efficiency and effectiveness in the production of educational multimedia content. TIC-TOOC relies on exponential technologies, especially Affective Virtual Intelligent Agents (AVIAs), the Internet of Emotions and Predicting Behaviour systems.
This innovative project aims to help teachers and authors turn their MOOCs into TOOCs (Transmedia Open Online Courses), giving them the opportunity to create online courses that offer a more complete and immersive experience for students. The transmedialisation of educational content provides a richer and more dynamic experience for users, allowing them to immerse themselves in a world of knowledge beyond the purely theoretical.
The TIC-TOOC project is led by a team of experts in the field, who will be responsible for carrying out a series of activities to give participants the opportunity to learn and share knowledge and experiences with other education professionals from around the world. In addition, follow-up programmes will be included to ensure that participants can continue to apply what they have learned in their daily work. To this end, an OTT/IPTV TELEDU platform will be used to allow constant interaction and monitoring of the learners' progress.
TIC-TOOC also seeks to foster collaboration between the different actors involved in the teaching-learning process. For example, teachers will be able to share their experiences and best practices with other colleagues from around the world, which will allow for a more holistic and enriching learning experience for all.
In short, TIC-TOOC is a unique initiative that seeks to improve the quality of online education and provide teachers and MOOC authors with the ability to easily transmedialise their educational content using advanced AI technologies.
