All abstracts must be submitted through the online form available in the PERSONAL AREA. It is necessary to register in the electronic platform before submitting the abstract.

The first author is the author in charge of the presentation and responsible for uploading the comunication. He/she is also the corresponding author in charge of ensuring that all authors have approved the paper and communicating the status of the submission to the other co-authors.

At least the first author of each of the papers presented must be registered at the Congress.

Each registered author may be the first author of a maximum of three papers, and his/her name may not appear in more than five.

The author defending the paper must register for the conference before April 5, 2023 to confirm attendance. Speakers who do not register by this date will not be included in the conference program. The first author will receive the notification of acceptance/rejection on February 8th, 2023 so that he/she can continue the elaboration of the communication for inclusion in the Conference proceedings book.

An abstract A communication may be changed to a different type of presentation format if so deemed by the Scientific Committee after review.

Students defending an oral or poster presentation may request their paper to be eligible for an award, having to indicate it in the system when submitting the abstract. Please read the rules of the Awards carefully.

The official languages of the Congress are Spanish, English and Portuguese. These two languages are accepted both for the abstract submission and for the subsequent development of the paper. The communication may be presented in any of these three languages, although there will be no simultaneous translation.

We invite abstracts for 3 different types of presentations:

Free oral communications: oral communications will aim to present, in a very brief manner, recent research results. Free oral communications will be presented in person. Each speaker will have a presentation time of 10 minutes followed by a 5-minute question and answer session.

Virtual communications: Virtual communications will bring together traditional posters and communications and will be treated similarly to oral communications, although it is recommended to use this format for works in the early stages or when attendance at the congress is impossible. Each virtual communication will be exhibited on the virtual platform in video format with narration. The presentation will have a duration of 10 minutes, and the authors will have to answer questions through the chat of the virtual platform.

Symposia: Symposia will connect researchers and practitioners with complementary or opposing perspectives on a common theme. Each symposium will include between four and five oral communications and will have a coordinator who will give the floor to the participants, analyze the main contributions of each communication and, above all, stimulate a final debate related to the content of the communications. The duration of each paper will be 10-15 minutes. The symposium will have a maximum duration of 60', plus 15' for discussion.

The presentation will include the objective of the symposium and a description of the topics, theories or initiatives to be addressed. The name of the person coordinating the symposium should also be included. The lead presenter submitting the abstract should include the names and contact information of the presenters for each paper in the submission portal when uploading the abstract.

Symposia may be presented either in person or virtually. You may choose the format in the submission form in the personal area. Each speaker in a symposium should submit a video of their narrated presentation, 10-15 minutes in length. For the discussion, speakers and coordinators should meet in a group call with an application such as ZOOM or similar, which allows such an online meeting, and should record the meeting. The discussion should have a maximum duration of 15 minutes. Questions from the congress participants will be asked through the platform's chat.

For the presentation of the abstracts for the symposium, the data required in the platform will be complemented, and a single Word format file will be attached, with all the abstracts and with the contact details of the author responsible for each of the papers to be presented at the Symposium, following the corresponding template.

Authors of Communication at Symposium must upload their abstract, select the option "Communication at Symposium" and include the title of the symposium to which they belong in a box in the abstract submission form.

When submitting the papers, you may indicate your preference for the type of paper, but the final format will be recommended by the Scientific Committee of the Congress.

Abstracts should have a maximum length of 300 words, in Times New Roman 12p font, single-spaced. It is recommended to use the template developed for this purpose, overwriting it.

Underline the author who will present the paper.

All authors named in the abstract should appear in the order in which you would like them to appear in the Congress program and proceedings book. A maximum of 5 keywords, separated by commas, should be included.

Abstracts received that do not conform to these guidelines will be returned to the authors.

Abstracts will be subject to an evaluation process by the Scientific Committee taking into account their scientific quality, relevance and compliance with the Congress rules.

The criteria for the review of papers are:
- relevance for the advancement of knowledge and psychological practice.
- Theoretical and empirical basis.
- clarity of objectives and methods applied.

Notification of acceptance or rejection of abstracts will be issued on February 8th, 2023.

All paper presenters must register in the PERSONAL AREA before April 5, 2023. Papers whose authors are not registered at the congress will be excluded from the program.

Registration for the congress implies payment of the registration fee for the entire congress as no single day rate is available.

Accepted papers will be published in the proceedings of the congress in the Dykinson publishing house (indexed in SPI (Scholarly Publishers Indicators). Category: Spanish publisher, Position: Q1). The length of the publication will be 3000 words (including tables, graphs, figures, charts and bibliography9 following the template created for this purpose and available in the PERSONAL AREA. The complete texts must be submitted through the platform before April 30, 2023 in order to allow the publisher to have time to edit the proceedings book that will be delivered in virtual format during the days of the congress.

The coordinators of the symposia and their speakers will have the possibility to publish a synthesis of the content of the symposium in the form of a book chapter. Only one paper per symposium may be submitted for evaluation for possible inclusion in the monographic book.

The monographic books will be published by SINTESIS (indexed in SPI (Scholarly Publishers Indicators. Category: Spanish publisher, Position: Q1). The text will have a maximum length of 6000 words plus graphs, tables, charts and bibliography. It will be written in one of the three official languages of the congress. The chapters will be reviewed by blind peers from the scientific committee of the congress. Once the changes have been accepted and with the positive evaluation of the reviewers, they will be sent to the publisher for inclusion in the text (link the logos of the pages where the publishers are with that page).

Before April 30 2023, the final version should be sent 6.000 words including tables and graphs.

The submission of a paper abstract must imply a commitment to participate in the congress. In the event that, once the paper has been accepted, personal or health circumstances force you to cancel your participation, please notify secretary@cipe2023.org as soon as possible in order to exclude it from the program. In the event that a colleague or co-author is able to present on your behalf, please also notify scretary@cipe2023.org. so that changes can be made. Cancellations impose a heavy workload and have a negative impact on the overall quality of the conference program.
